Project objectives:
The purpose of the studies assigned to Behan Sadd Company is to review the current situation of how to use water resources for the future, especially in the agricultural sector, and determine appropriate solutions to meet all or part of these demands by the implementation of the most suitable and economical methods. These methods of integration of water resources should be developed by considering the environmental characteristics of the region.
Project Description:
Chahardangeh River is one of the main tributaries of Tajan river located in Mazandaran province. This river, which originates from the heights overlooking Kiasar region. By joining with Dodangeh tributary, they form the main body of the Tajan River. After passing through Sari city (the capital of the province) and irrigating paddy fields and citrus orchards, Tajan River is discharged into the Caspian Sea near a village called Farahabad.
The studies include survey, feasibility, and completion of the first stage studies.
