Project Objectives:

Main objective of the project is to produce 250 MW electricity to the high voltage grid. Some other purposes such as river flow regulation and flood control will also be fulfilled.

• Free spillway on the dam
• 2 Orifice bottom outlets
• 2 Diversion tunnels

a. Main dam:

Type: double curvature concrete dam

Height: 230 m

Crest length: 440 m

Reservoir capacity: 2190 mcm

b. Upstream cofferdam:

Type: Earth fill with inclined clay core

Height: 45.5 m

c. Downstream cofferdam:

Type: Earth fill with vertical clay core

Height: 22 m
